The ASEAN Treasury

The treasury is the central financial hub of the ASEAN Motor Club server, overseeing the in-game economy and funding various initiatives that enhance the player experience and competitive scene. It operates to ensure a thriving and vibrant community within Motor Town.

The Treasury is primarily funded through the generous support of our player community. Funds are contributed directly by players through in-game donations, which can be made using the /donate command. These contributions are vital for sustaining and developing the server’s vibrant ecosystem and are tracked and showcased in our regular Treasury Reports.

The Server makes a number of Vanity Vehicles available for purchase, which are not normally purchasable with normal gameplay. 50% of the proceeds of such vehicle sales go into the treasury.

The funds within the ASEAN Treasury are strategically allocated to support key aspects of the Motor Town experience:

• Subsidies: The Treasury disburses subsidies to various in-game activities and projects, contributing to the overall economic stability and growth of the server.
• Universal Basic Income: A regular stipend (payment) given to online players on a regular interval.
• Motor Town Racing Development Grant: A significant initiative, approved by Mayor Freeman, this grant provides 150,000 coins to contestants officially registered for major racing events like the AMC Championship Cup. This support is specifically for acquiring and tuning high-performance vehicles, promoting higher quality and more accessible competition for all. The grant features a player-friendly, conditional repayment system, ensuring that racers are always financially better off for their participation.
• Providing Liquidity to the Bank of ASEAN: The Treasury acts as the foundational financial backing for the Bank of ASEAN, our community’s dedicated banking system. It supplies the necessary liquidity for the bank to offer loans and comprehensive banking services to players, designed to supplant the game’s default banking system.
• Competition Prize Money: In addition to the development grants, the Treasury is responsible for funding the prize pools for official racing events, including the AMC Championship Cup, rewarding the skill and dedication of our top racers.
